The Four Elements 
Yoga & Meditation Workshop

Integrating all aspects of being   

We are made up of the four elements of earth, water, fire and air, the building blocks of life itself.  Using the perspective of the four elements we can look at our health and wellbeing in terms of mind, body, emotions and spirit. When these aspects of being are out of sync, we can experience stress, illness, and feel out of balance with life and the universe. Each element has a healing quality that can help us to feel integrated, vibrant and alive!   

In this workshop we will explore body, mind, emotions and spirit to see where we may need support and balance.   

Through yoga, meditation, visualisation and some pranayama breathing practices, we can tap into these forces of nature and experience feelings of equilibrium, relaxation and peace.   

This will be a fun and interesting workshop, where we will:-

  • Connect to the earth element and our physical body through grounding and improve our posture 

  • Connect to the water element to help us move with fluidity, peace and grace and be in touch with our emotions.   

  • Connect to the element of fire by heating up our core to increase energy and vitality.     

  • Connect to the element of air with breathing practices of pranayama.   

Come and engage in ways to feel positive, enhance your health and restore your wellbeing!  

Yoga and meditation can help reduce your stress levels, experience equanimity, balance your emotions and feel relaxed!

Grounding & Strengthening 
 Yoga and meditation workshop

Laying down roots and strengthening the core for balance, stability and harmony 

We seem to be living in challenging times, a shift is occurring where fundamental changes are taking place. Some of these changes are through choice and some are not. We seem to be trying to find our "feet', re-evaluating core beliefs to make choices about how we wish to step forwards into the future. A lot of sorting out is taking place at base level. This can create feelings of unease and instability as these changes take place. 

When we feel established in our roots, stable in our foundations, we feel safe and secure. We can go with the flow of life, and draw upon our inner resources when faced with change and instability.  From a firm stronghold we can release physical, mental and emotional stress so we can allow joy, peace and harmony to flow into our lives.  

If you are experiencing shifts, challenges and changes in your life or simply wish to establish a sense of grounding and stability, then this is the workshop for you!   

We will work from the feet up to improve our relationship to gravity, and with the support of the earth use this energy to lift us up, lengthen the spine and grow towards the light to fully embrace vital life force energy. 

In this workshop we will:-

  • Engage in full belly and chest breathing to relax, release stress and harness positive energy. 

  • Focus on grounding yoga postures to align the body and improve day to day standing and sitting posture.

  • Tune into the base chakra, the root of our energy centres, using meditation to establish a sense of strength and security enabling us to feel centred and grounded.    

This is a nourishing and nurturing workshop and is suitable for all levels of yoga and meditation practitioners.
